Charles Cornwell has conducted several searches for our client, Watson Marlow: a world leader in its field. The company manufactures a highly successful range of niche industrial equipment, and in this instance gave Charles the brief to find a talented, experienced R&D professional to create and deliver a global New Product Development strategy.

A critical aspect of the assignment was the requirement for Charles to assess candidates’ cultural fit with the organisation and chemistry with the leadership team. The successful candidate came from a different industry, but with comparable experience of working in a highly regulated environment. He has been promoted since joining Watson Marlow.
